SIGN OF THE TIMES

BBC Radio 1 is moving its chart show to Friday afternoons, where it will become part of Greg James' drive-time show, the station announced (That’s Greg in the photo). The change will take place in mid-July, timed with the shift to a worldwide Friday release date. Radio 1 will be the first to reveal the latest U.K. Top 20. The chart countdown has been part of Radio 1's Sunday schedule for nearly 50 years, starting with Alan Freeman's Pick of the Pops in 1967.
