Topping both the singles and album sales chart on iTunes are Capitol's Australian phenoms 5 Seconds of Summer, whose pre-order for a new album due Oct. 23rd is blowing up off the strength of their radio hit "She's Kinda Hot" and the brand new song just released yesterday and now planted at #1 sales, "Fly Away." Besides a strong showing from Lana Del Rey for "High By the Beach," the rest of the Top Ten are all familiar smashes.

On the album side, momentum for the opening weekend of the Straight Outta Compton movie has catapulted the classic N.W.A. album of the same name into the Top Ten, while the Dr. Dre inspired-by Compton slips to #2 behind 5SOS. FKA twigs, Little Mix and Chinx are all fresh faces to the Top Ten, while both Luke Bryan and Taylor Swift maintain position at #3 and #10, respectively.

Further down the chart, the movie, Dre's Compton and attendant hype propel Dre's The Chronic to #26 and N.W.A's Greatest Hits to #29. The deluxe Straight Outta Compton is #37 and Dre's 2001 is #53. for more on the catalog story, go here and ask for Bruce.
