Adele: Back on top.

U.K. MIDWEEKS: ADELE BACK AT #1

As she wows crowds on tour, Adele is enjoying yet another resurgence in sales of 25 (XL), which looks set to score its 10th non-consecutive week atop the U.K.’s Official Albums Chart. At the midweek stage, Kendrick Lamar is at #6 thanks to streams and downloads of his surprise untitled, unmastered (Aftermath/Interscope), which is #2 on the U.K.’s iTunes Albums Chart despite not being an album in any way. Will its arrival at retail next week boost it further?

27k combined sales behind Adele is Jess Glynne’s debut I Cry When I Laugh (Atlantic), which leaps from #6 to #2 on today’s Official Chart update, boosted by the success of its latest single “Ain’t Got Far To Go” and her appearance on Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeawayover the weekend.

On the Official Singles Charts, Warner band Lukas Graham's reign is proving relentless with “7 Years” holding out for its fifth week at #1 on Friday. Mike Posner track “I Took A Pill In Ibiza” (Island) is moving upwards, climbing one place to #2, while Rihanna f/Drake’s “Work” (Virgin EMI) slips from #2 to #3.

Zara Larsson’s “Lush Life” (Epic/Record Company Ten) stays put at #4, while her collaboration with Tinie Tempah “Girls Like” (Parlophone) is a fast mover, jumping seven spots to #8.
