ANDRA DAY LIGHTS UP THE DNC

Warner Bros.' Andra Day delivered a powerful performance of her inspired song "Rise Up" on day two of the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, and left few dry eyes in the house.

Following a moving segment from the "Mothers of the Movement," a group of black mothers whose children were killed by police shootings and other gun violence, Day's soaring voice truly channeled the hope and determination of the moment. Bravo.
