TAG THEY'RE IT: SHAZAM'S BIGGEST MOVERS

Just days after the release of a celebrity-filled Pokemon-themed video, Maroon 5’s “Don’t Wanna Know” rises 195 slots to #6 on the Shazam USA Top 100, making it the week’s Biggest Mover. The single, featuring Kendrick Lamar and released 10/11, is the week’s Biggest Gainer in the U.K. as well.

Meanwhile, a 51-year-old recording from folk singer Jackson C. Frank, “Blues Run the Game,” rises 137 slots to #64 after a sync use in NBC’s new comedy This Is Us. Andra Day’s “Rise Up,” a single that has had a steady life for two years, was up 59 places to #60, having appeared recently in the CNN film Girl Rising.

New singles from John Legend and Usher are also grabbing ahold of ears and thumbs. In the U.K., the same holds true for The Vamps & Matoma’s “All Night,” which was added to BBC Radio 1’s A List shortly after its 10/12 release.
