JORDAN FISHER TO MAKE BROADWAY DEBUT IN HAMILTON

Actor and Hollywood Records recording artist Jordan Fisher will make his Broadway debut in the smash Hamilton, assuming the roles of John Laurens and Philip Hamilton starting on 11/22. Original cast member Anthony Ramos, whose final performance will be 11/20, will begin filming a lead role in Spike Lee’s Netflix series, She’s Gotta Have It.

MTV and People Magazine deemed Fisher a breakout star following his performance as “Doody” in Fox’s award winning production of Grease: Live, where he worked with Hamilton director Thomas Kail. In August Fisher released his self-titled debut EP in August following his top 40 single “All About Us.” His first full-length album is expected to drop in early 2017.

Born in Alabama, Fisher grew up in a theater environment, and made a successful leap to the small screen with recurring roles in Teen Beach Movie franchise, Liv and Maddie, and The Secret Life of the American Teenager.

For those of you who can’t make it to New York, the Chicago Production of Hamilton opens 10/19, with a touring production beginning a 21-week run in San Francisco in March 2017, followed by a 21-week run in Los Angeles, and finally a London production also in 2017.
