RADIOHEAD FOR GLASTONBURY

Eagle-eyed observers spotted a hint Wednesday that intensified speculation over Radiohead headlining Glastonbury next year, and the news has since been officially confirmed by Glasto itself. How did we not predict that one?

Radiohead will play the Pyramid stage of the legendary British festival on Friday, 6/23. Speculation reached fever pitch after fans saw a circular symbol that looked like the band’s “bear” logo on the BBC’s webcam from Worthy Farm, as reported by NME. It was indeed there, and was tweeted by Glastonbury today.

The last time Radiohead played Glastonbury—in 2010—it was a secret set; headlined in 2003. Other names in the Glastonbury headline rumour mill include Ed Sheeran, Guns N’ Roses, Kasabian and The Stone Roses.
