THE LAST SUPPER,
OBAMA-STYLE

Ken Ehrlich gets the types of invitation we at HITS can only dream about—we won’t even pretend The White House used our old address and the invite got lost in the mail. The Grammy telecast producer, aka the king of live music television, was among the guests at President Obama’s final state dinner where Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi was the guest of honor.

Gwen Stefani performed at the dinner, bringing Blake Shelton as her date. Among the 500 guests were Chance the Rapper, Frank Ocean, James Taylor and Jerry Seinfeld.

Ehrlich and his wife Harriet buddied up with VP Joe Biden, who proceeded to slip Ken a list of duet partners he’d like to see on the 2017 Grammys.

Mario Batali’s menu featured agnolotti with butter and sage, warm butternut squash salad, beef braciole with horseradish gremolata, and green apple crostata with thyme caramel for dessert. Guests were expected to bring their own Lipitor.
