TAG THEY'RE IT: SHAZAM'S BIGGEST MOVERS

Radio listeners gave their thumbs a workout in the week following the Grammy Awards as four high-profile new releases are the Biggest Movers on the Shazam USA Top 100. The fifth title? Credit the return of Girls.

DJ Khaled’s 2/12 release “Shining” featuring Jay Z and Beyonce (Epic/We The Best) rose 193 slots to #8. Spiking nearly as many slots was the latest 222/Interscope release from Maroon 5, “Cold” featuring Future, which was up 189. On its heels was Kygo & Selena Gomez’ Interscope release “It Ain’t Me,” which was up 185 slots to #16. The three tracks are also in the Top 40 on the U.K. Shazam chart.

Meanwhile, Linkin Park’s well-publicized new single, “Heavy” (Warner Bros.), was the week’s fourth Biggest Mover, up 137 to #64.

If you remember pre-tagging days when “Mambo No. 5” and “I Want it That Way” were omnipresent, Tal Bachman had a little hit called “She’s So High.” The 1999 Columbia release wound up in the end credits of the sixth season premiere of HBO’s Girls, which first aired 2/12. Up 136 slots to #65 in the U.S., it also registered with U.K. listeners who made it #74 in Blighty.
