BMG UPS ITS COMMISSION

BMG announced today that it has partnered with urban music tastemaker outlet Commission Music, to release material from its eclectic roster of artists including Lil Dicky, MadeinTYO, 24HRS, DJ Envy and more.

The first offering under the new BMG alliance will be MadeinTYO's "Skateboard P," which features Big Sean and is the official follow-up to his smash platinum single "Uber Everywhere," which featured Travis Scott.

Founded in 2015 by artist managers Anthony Martini and Doug Neumann, Commission Music’s artists have amassed over a billion streams, 500m video views and 2m digital downloads in those few years.

Martini said, “We started Commission in response to a broken model. After years as an artist manager, I knew we could do better and we have with BMG. Our partnership will allow us to expand that vision without compromising our DIY spirit.”

Neumann added, "We are thrilled to partner up with BMG, a forward thinking company which has the resources and experienced personnel needed to help us achieve the goals of our artists in this new music industry climate.”

Zach Katz, BMG U.S. President Repertoire & Marketing proclaimed, “Anthony and Doug are exactly the kind of entrepreneurs that keep our industry progressing. We are very proud to welcome them to BMG and excited to show the world what we can do together.”
