After a long week here at HITS, we all like to do like James Comey and wear clothing that matches the drapes in the hopes the higher-ups don’t notice us. So while we’re styling olive green mechanics uniforms, you can take a gander at the week’s top stories.

L.A. Reid left Epic as sexual harassment charges emerged, leaving Sylvia Rhone to take over day-to-day running of the label

Superstars were out promoting their new releases. Harry Styles spent the week with James Corden and visited iHeart. Miley Cyrus promoted her new single “Malibu” by taking over NBC and dropping in at New York’s Fresh 102.7. And Katy Perry announced a release date for Witness, dropped a single with Nicki Minaj and talked about all her other plans on Ellen.

We have to ask: Which major radio programmer is feeling his authority is being undermined?

Breakfast comes before dinner so the City of Hope’s 2017 Spirit of Life honoree Coran Capshaw will first be feted Tuesday morning, months ahead of the gala dinner in L.A. on 11/2.

Music Biz took place this week in Nashville. We’ve got the pictures to prove it. Plus Troy Carter spoke, Alice Cooper reunited with former bandmates, and Mike Dungan was honored.
