MCCARROLL STEPPING DOWN AS WBR PRESIDENT

Label prexy Dan McCarroll will be exiting Warner Bros. Records, according to an internal memo issued by CEO Cameron Strang.

Strang thanked the industry vet for his contributions, calling him "integral in evolving our A&R activity, helping us grow our partnerships...[and] attracting a new generation of talent."

McCarroll's last day will be Friday. In a note to the label team, he wrote, "the last four years here have been amazing for me. It has been my pleasure and honor to work with some of the greatest artists of all time and to collaborate with he many talented people at WBR. I want to thank Cameron, Hildi [Snodgrass], Peter [Gray], Larry [Mattera] and Emio [Zizza] for everything they do, and for being fantastic partners."
