KENDRICK, TOP DAWG POWER UP FOR BLACK PANTHER: THE ALBUM

Marketplace monster and Grammy magnet Kendrick Lamar will collaborate with manager/label boss Top Dawg on Black Panther: The Album, which will accompany the forthcoming Marvel flick; the recorded set is coming 2/9 via TDE/Aftermath/Interscope.

The African-American superhero adventure, starring Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, Forest Whitaker and Angela Bassett and directed by Ryan Coogler, is due in theaters on 2/16.

The first single, "All the Stars," pairs Lamar with TDE stablemate SZA and was produced by Sounwave; you can check it out below.

Lamar hailed the film as "a great marriage of art and culture," while Top Dawg declared, "Working on such a powerful movie is a great opportunity. We're always working on new goals at TDE, so teaming up with Disney, Marvel Studios and the Black Panther film makes perfect sense."
