Another track from the hotly anticipated Black Panther soundtrack (TDE/Aftermath/Interscope) has been released: Kendrick Lamar & The Weeknd's "Pray for Me." The track has quickly moved to #2 at iTunes.
Lamar co-produced the soundtrack alongside Top Dawg Entertainment label CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith; the set is due out on 2/9, a week before the opening of the Marvel/Disney film, which is shaping up as a potential blockbuster.
"Pray for Me" follows the advance tracks "All the Stars" featuring Kendrick & SZA and "King's Dead" with Jay Rock, Kendrick, Future and James Blake.
This isn't the first time the two superstars have worked together—Lamar had a feature on "Sidewalks" from The Weeknd's 2016 Starboy album.
