THE ETHOS RAMPS UP FOR A POWERHOUSE Q2 (UPDATE)

Monte Lipman's Team Republic is due for a bangin' Q2. The Ethos will be dropping a hotly anticipated set by Post Malone on 4/27 and is expected to follow that potential blockbuster with new music from fellow streaming behemoth Drake—to which it can add the marketshare mileage of Island hitmaker Shawn Mendes.

Republic is currently #2 in marketshare, two full points behind Atlantic; Post, Drake and Shawn could put Lipman House in the lead. Of course, Atlantic will be unleashing the album bow of breakout artist Cardi B and the snowballing set from Panic! at the Disco, so any gains will be hard-fought. Further wild cards for Ethos Land: Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj, whose next releases are still TBA. Buckle up.
