J. COLE DROPS KOD THIS WEEK

It seems J. Cole is about to drop new music. The Dreamville/Roc Nation/Interscope star issued the following tweet on 4/16:

The announcement followed a mysterious invitation to an NYC event that turned out to be a listening party at the Gramercy Theater. There, DJ Booth related, it was revealed that the 12-track set contained no features, and that its final track, "1985," served as the introduction to yet another project, about which no information was forthcoming. Also the title stands for Kids on Drugs. Or King Overdosed. Or Kill Our Demons. Or maybe all three.

Cole's last full-length, All Eyez on Me, bowed in December of 2016 with 511k, making it the third-biggest chart debut of that year. It's done 1.33m in total activity RTD.
