COACHELLA, YOUTUBE EXTEND DEAL

Too old, tired or broke to make it out to Indio one more time? The good news is YouTube and Coachella have renewed their live-streaming deal for another three years. Feel free to shed your flower crown.

The renewal takes YouTube through 2021 which will mark 11 years of a consecutive Coachella webcast on YouTube. YouTube’s Chief Business Officer Robert Kyncl made the announcement during the website’s brandcast.

This year's Coachella was the biggest yet with more 41m live views and fans tuning in from 232 countries and territories. Beyoncé’s performance on 4/14 had 458k global viewers. It is the most viewed live music festival ever on YouTube.
