The Backstreet Boys released a new single today, “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart,” after signing with RCA. Wanna feel old? It’s their 25th anniversary.
Backstreet Boys will perform at a series of summer radio shows such as KIIS-FM Wango Tango and return to Good Morning America’s Summer Concert Series in Central Park on 7/13. They return to Las Vegas for their residency at Planet Hollywood on 7/25.
“We’ve been working our ass off for 25 years,” says AJ McLean, “and with the support of RCA and our contemporaries, we know we’ll be performing for fans, both old and new, for a really long time. It feels like we’re just getting started.”
The band, which had the recent collaboration with Florida Georgia Line, “God, Your Mama, and Me,” also released a video directed by long time BSB collaborators Rich + Tone.
“The minute we heard this song we knew it was special,” says Kevin Richardson. “I geeked out over the piano and synths. Great verse, hook and melodies.”
Speaking about melodies, after reading this story, you won't be able to get "I Want it That Way" out of your head.
