Spotify stock is still on fire, cruising to a high of $196 on 8/13 before leveling off to about $191.50. Apple, meanwhile, hit a 52-week high earlier in the day with 210.95 (surpassing the prior peak of $210.53) before ramping down slightly to $208.87.

Amazon, for its part, zoomed to $1,922.88 a share before ending up at $1,896.20; its 52-week high is $1,925.

Google parent Alphabet was down slightly from its previous close at $1,248.64.
