HERE'S JOHNNY

Brooklyn Johnny, who played a key role in the meteoric rise to stardom of Cardi B and other artists, joins Cardi for a photo op before explaining to another 17 clueless trade journalists what “Bodak Yellow” is about. Johnny recently inked a JV deal with RCA for new label District 18 Entertainment.

In announcing the JV, RCA Chairman & CEO Peter Edge said, "Brooklyn Johnny has established himself as a major force in hip-hop by elevating the careers of many artists with his creative vision, passion and ambition. His past accomplishments and unique approach to finding and developing young talent is what makes him distinctly standout from others.”

Mark Pitts, President, Urban Music, RCA Records/CEO ByStorm Entertainment added, “The music business today is a game for the younger generation and Johnny is playing it well, as he has proven he possesses all the elements it takes to be successful. His passion, hustle, and creative instincts for identifying talent is paramount to his success.”

Johnny recently visited the HITS offices in Hollywood, which caused him to reach for the hand sanitizer.
