A RAINBOW OVER THE TOWER

A rainbow flag has been raised above Steve Barnett's Capitol tower in celebration of Pride Month. The label hosted their first-ever Pride event in L.A. on 6/4; employees, friends and family will march in the 2019 L.A. Pride Parade on 6/9, supporting their roster of LGBTQ+ artists and allies.

The 6/4 event included a show that featured performances of CMG’s greatest hits by some of the most popular contestants from RuPaul’s Drag Race. The shindig, sponsored by 102.7 KIIS FM and Ketel One Botanical, went down at Micky's—one of the oldest gay-owned and operated bars in WeHo. And a portion of ticket sales went to nonprofit My Friend's Place.

In case you were wondering, Barnett looks particularly regal in seven-inch pumps. Also, a HITS staffer injured themselves while attempting a death drop.
