GOING LIVE WITH POLLSTAR

The K-pop phenoms of BTS debuted at #1 on Pollstar’s LIVE75 chart—above Rod Stewart, Paul McCartney and Dead & Company—seeing 51.1k average tickets sold from six shows for an average gross of $5.8m. And if that feat wasn’t incredibly impressive enough, their rooms were at 100% capacity.

The only non-legacy rock act to make the Top 30 was Greta Van Fleet, who are up this week, moving #20-16. Over at #41, though, Local Natives earned Pollstar’s “BREAKTHROUGH” honor, thanks to their 100% average-capacity figure. Another band—albeit of the folky, soulful variety—donned Pollstar’s “NOISE MAKER” badge for having the biggest gain in chart positions; The Teskey Brothers, who recently inked a deal with Daniel GlassGlassnote Records—soared #72-61.

Last week, Juice WRLD entered at #21 to become the only rap act on the chart. This week, blackbear is one of only a small few representing the hip-hop genre; he appeared at #34.
