BMI BIG ON BLIGHTY

Camila Cabello, Raye, Niall Horan and Avicii were among the winners Monday at the BMI London Awards where Noel Gallagher was honored with the Presidents gong for his influence on songwriting.

Raye was the inaugural winner of the BMI Impact Award in recognition of her artistry, creative vision and impact on the future of music. The song she co-wrote with Janee 'jin-jin' Bennett for Madison Beer, "Home With You," was included in the list of most-performed songs of the last year.

Cabello won Song of the Year for "Never Be The Same," written with Noonie Bao, Adam 'Frank Dukes' Feeney and Sasha Sloan. Avicii's father, Klas Bergling, picked up the BMI Million-Air Award for 4m performances of his late son's smash "Wake Me Up."

Horan accepted awards for "Too Much to Ask," co-written with Jamie Scott, and "On the Loose," co-written with John Ryan and Julian Bunetta, and Anne-Marie earned one for “FRIENDS” (Marshmello/Anne-Marie/Eden Anderson/Rick Boardman). You'll find the full list of winning performers, writers and publishers here.

BMI President and CEO Mike O'Neill swore to Noel Gallagher that The Beatles wrote "Savoy Truffle" in the Savoy Hotel, which is why BMI held the event there.

Niall Horan takes home two plaques from the BMI London awards, preventing him from getting another pint of lager.
