THE ISLAND OF MANHATTAN

At the Island Records 60th anniversary pop-up experience at Dolby SoHo, label boss Darcus Beese, COO Eric Wong, EVP/GM LaTrice Burnette and artists Snowsa and Jufu offer a vivid tableau; the label team also convened for the populous pic below. The pop-up's immersive environment enrobed visitors in the music of Bob Marley, Amy Winehouse, Shawn Mendes, Elton John, Demi Lovato and many more. Among the other favored exhibits: a collection of roaches from Chris Blackwell's joints, assembled under a couch very like the one in his office. Inhaling in the vicinity is an immerse experience in its own right.
