FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES AND APPLE MUSIC

Hollywood’s Breaking Benjamin is the highest charting new arrival this flipover Friday leading into Grammy weekend. The charts are a little light in new releases.

Breaking Benjamin’s collection of reimagined songs from their catalog, Aurora (Hollywood), opens at #2 followed by The Album Pt. 1 (This Is Hit/Broken Bow) from North Carolina country singer Chase Rice.

Pet Shop Boys return with Hotspot (x2/Kobalt) at #4; the album is also being released on cassette.

Music from the Netflix series The Witcher (Milan/Sony) winds up on the iTunes album and song charts. Sonya Belousova & Giona Ostinelli’s score is #5 and their song with Joey Batey, “Toss a Coin to Your Witcher,” is #12.

Citizen of Heaven (Provident) from Christian singer Tauren Wellls is #6 while NOW That’s What I Call Music! Vol. 73 (UMG/Sony) comes in at #9.

Gayle King’s Thursday night Grammy special on CBS helped push Blake Shelton’s duet with Gwen Stefani, “Nobody But You” (Warner Nashville), to #1 at songs and his God’s Country into the Top 10 at albums.
