STREAMING SURGES, TOP 50 YTD


Following a week of troubling headlines, it now appears that recorded music is as healthy as ever in the U.S. 2020 streams are up 21% vs. the same period a year ago, and 58% vs. 2018. Comps are displayed in the visual above.

More good news: Through Sunday, preliminary numbers indicate streams increased this week by 2% vs. the same period last week (Fri-Sun), by a total of nearly 90m streams.
