JUICE, POP SMOKE HELP POWER BIGGEST STREAMING WEEK YET

Posthumous releases from Juice WRLD and Pop Smoke have contributed to the biggest week yet for on-demand audio streaming.

The late hip-hop stars' titles (on Grade A/Interscope and Victor Victor/Republic, respectively), currently ranked at #1 and #2 on the HITS Top 50 chart, added more than 500 million streams to a weekly total of 17.3 billion, the largest number of weekly plays in the streaming era thus far. Year to date on-demand audio streams are up 17% vs. the same period in 2019.

How much more could streaming continue to grow, even in the face of major economic and social challenges? Stay tuned.
