BANDMERCH CLOSES

The fallout from COVID-19 has led to the closure of merchandise company BandMerch, which has handled T-shirts for Matchbox Twenty, Ingrid Michaelson and Black Veil Brides.

In an email, CEO/President Joseph Bongiovi wrote that the company was “shut down by the owners about a month ago and all the employees, including myself, were laid off due to the pandemic.”

Previously, the company had furloughed the majority of the company’s staff due to the stay-at-home mandate in California. Based in Burbank, BandMerch has been owned since 2014 by the apparel company Cinderblock, which purchased it from AEG Live.
