What was to have been the first socially distanced show at London's O2 Arena, Squeeze's 12/5 appearance, has been rescheduled to 2/27 to comply with current lockdown restrictions in England. It would have been the first live-music event with fans since the venue closed in March.
Capacity is set to be reduced from 20,000 to 4,700, and extensive planning and a number of new safety measures have been put in place.
“It’s disappointing to have to delay this show, but I would like to say how grateful we are for the support we’ve received from the industry, fans and our partners. We look forward to Squeeze performing in the arena next year,” Steve Sayer, VP & GM of the O2 said.
The O2 has closed its doors until 12/2.
