NEW RELEASES: A DOUBLE DOSE OF DANGER (UPDATE)

UPDATE: Morgan Wallen’s 30-track Dangerous: The Double Album (Big Loud/Republic) extended its strong start through the weekend. Updated projections now put the set at 215-225k. Combined audio and video streams are approaching 200m. Will Dangerous enter the 200m club? Stay tuned.

Morgan Wallen is in no danger of obscurity as he starts the year off with a record-setting bow; after one day of sales and streams, Dangerous: The Double Album (Big Loud/Republic) is projecting a first-week total of 185-210k.

Combined on-demand audio and video streams are pegged at 165-190m, a new opening-week record for a country release. By Friday, when the HITS Top 50 is finalized, Dangerous is expected to be at 1.2m in total activity.

Lead track "Wasted on You" is currently #1 at Apple Music and Spotify U.S.
