U.K. MIDWEEKS: MOGWAI IN THE LEAD
2/22/21

Mogwai are leading a tight race for this week’s Official Albums #1 at the midweek stage, with just 1,300 sales currently separating the Top 3. Over on singles, Ella Henderson and Tom Grennan look set to claim this week’s highest new entry.

Mogwai’s As The Love Continues (Rock Action) is currently #1 on albums, while Foo Fighters sit close behind with previous chart-topper, Medicine at Midnight (Columbia). British rapper Ghetts is new at #3 with Conflict of Interest (Warner Records).

Ariana Grande’s Positions (Island) looks set to return to the Top 5 following the release of its deluxe edition, which is currently at #5 and the most-streamed record of the week so far.

Whitesnake compilation The Blues Album (Rhino) sits at #9 today, and Yorkshire band The Reytons are at #10 with EP, May Seriously Harm You and Others Around You (Scruff of the Neck).

On the U.K.’s Official Singles midweeks, Henderson and Grennan start at #17 with “Let’s Go Home Together” (Major Toms/Asylum); it’s the most downloaded track of the week so far.
