PLAY TIME FOR KATYCATS
Her name is Katy; she is a showgirl. Katy Perry fan-club members, aka KatyCats, can now get their paws on presale tickets for the Capitol star's PLAY residency, which kicks off 12/29 at The Theater at Resorts World Las Vegas (FYI: it’s a bunch of Hilton properties grouped together). The initial PLAY run includes New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day shows followed by a handful of dates later in January.
“I think we’re all ready to play—and what better place to play than Las Vegas?” says Perry. “Vegas is in my blood. My grandmother was a seamstress for showgirls and my aunt was a dancer in the Folies Bergère. I’m excited to carry on the family tradition and bring a bold, playful experience to audiences who, like me, have been yearning for the communal experience of live entertainment.”
