SPLICE ADDS GLOBAL MUSIC CULTURE HEAD

Kehinde Hassan, the producer and co-founder of hip-hop/electronic duo Christian Rich, has joined the music platform Splice as Director of Global Music Culture.

In the newly created role, Hassan will help bolster Splice’s relationships with the commercial music ecosystem globally, forging new partnerships with music companies, producers and brands. He will report to Splice’s Chief Music Officer Maria Egan and VP of A&R Jen Mozenter.

As a producer, Hassan has worked with Childish Gambino, Drake, J. Cole and others.

“I have always deeply respected Kehinde as a human, tastemaker and producer,” Egan said. “He uniquely understands the life of a DIY artist, has explored the music business landscape globally and also worked with some of the most important artists of our time. His relationships and perspective across so many different facets of music will be a great asset to the Splice community.”
