SOUNDEXCHANGE BRINGS IN NEW BLOOD

SoundExchange has tapped industry veteran Stephanie Werner as its new Vice President, Brand Marketing and Industry Engagement. In addition, Barry LeVine will become Vice President, Marketing and Entertainment Partnerships. They will form part of the company’s newly expanded corporate affairs group, based in New York. Both will report to Esther-Mireya Tejeda, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer.

Werner comes to SoundExchange from Global Citizen, where she was VP of Marketing. Prior to that, she held executive positions at VH1 and was the executive director of the channel’s Save The Music Foundation. LeVine was SoundExchange’s VP of Industry Relations before moving into his new role.

“SoundExchange is hard at work building innovative technology systems, growing our suite of fintech services and expanding our data capabilities to make the business of music more simple, efficient and fair,” said Tejeda. “It’s an exciting time to redefine our corporate affairs group with best-in-class industry leaders as we level up to meet and surpass the demands of a digital-first ecosystem.”
