BIG WEEKEND RETURNS

BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend is returning in 2022. The three-day event expects more than 70k music fans.

Taking place in Coventry’s War Memorial Park, the event will be the first in-person version in three years, following virtual editions for 2020 and 2021.

Performances will air across Radio 1, BBC Sounds and BBC iPlayer. Full broadcast information, along with lineup and ticketing details, will be announced soon.

Previous Big Weekend headliners include Miley Cyrus, Stormzy, Ed Sheeran, Camila Cabello and Biffy Clyro.
