SWIRSKY SWITCHES TO COLUMBIA

Julian Swirsky is heading to Columbia Records, where he will lead his own venture, in addition to serving as Senior Vice President, A&R.

Columbia Chairman and CEO Ron Perry made the announcement. Swirsky will start 1/18.

Previously SVP, A&R, at Republic Records, he signed Lil Tecca, Conan Gray and Clairo and has produced tracks for Justin Bieber and Post Malone.

In the Before Times, Swirsky once dropped by the HITS office. But we’re guessing he’ll lose all of our business cards in his move across town to Sony’s Madison Square Park digs.
