ACTIVIST EXPANDS IN ASIA, CATCHES A HEETER

Activist Artists Management is growing with the appointment of Jonathan Heeter as Head of Asia.

“Jonathan has more than 20 years of first-hand experience in China, where he's built significant businesses and brands,” said Bernie Cahill, founding partner of Activist. “He has maintained deep, high-level relationships throughout Asia, which makes him the perfect person to expand our business.”

Heeter will capitalize on the next wave of digital innovation in Asia, which he believes will be a blend of digitally native and offline experiences. He will also help artists maximize opportunities in cities like Manila and Jakarta, key drivers for global success on DSPs.

Heeter has worked with Warner Music China, Dentsu and Fender.

Activist's roster includes The Lumineers, Alec Benjamin, Empire of the Sun, the Grateful Dead, Dead & Company, Bob Weir, Dwight Yoakam, Brittney Spencer, Michael Franti & Spearhead and All Elite Wrestling.
