U.K. MIDWEEKS: BLACKPINK EYES #1

BLACKPINK is heading for its first U.K. Official Albums #1, with BORN PINK (Interscope) leading an all-new Top 5 at today's halfway point. Over on singles, David Guetta and Bebe Rexha look set for the top.

Rina Sawayama’s Hold the Girl (Dirty Hit) starts at #2, followed by Suede’s Autofiction (BMG) at #3.

Marcus Mumford is at #4 with his first release outside Mumford & Sons, (self-titled) (Island), and Pink Floyd completes the list with a reissue of its 1977 album, Animals (Parlophone).

The Stranglers eye a Top 20 entry, with a reissue of their 2006 set Suite XVI (Coursegood) at #12, while Lissie looks set to score her fifth Top 20; Carving Canyons (Lionboy Records) is at #18.

On the U.K.’s Official Singles midweeks, Rexha could claim her first #1 on Friday with her David Guetta collaboration “I’m Good (Blue)” (Parlophone), which rises one place.

The week’s highest new entry could be “PSYCHO” (Warner Music U.K.) by Anne-Marie and Aitch; it's at #17. Burna Boy and Ed Sheeran’s “For My Hand” (Atlantic), at #19, looks set to break the Top 20 for the first time.

BLACKPINK could score its third U.K. Top 20, with “Shut Down” at #20.
