AFRO NATION TO MAKE U.S. DEBUT IN MIAMI

Live Nation’s Afro Nation will make its U.S. debut 5/27 & 28 in Miami with Burna Boy and Wizkid as headliners. A showcase for African artists, the festival has already been mounted in Africa itself, Europe and the Caribbean.

The lineup for the Miami edition also includes Nigerian stars Rema and Asake, dancehall legend Beenie Man, rising African acts CKay, BNXN and Black Sherif and French rapper Franglish.

The fest, staged at LoanDepot Park, will shine a spotlight on the ascendant South African genre of amapiano courtesy of Major League DJZ and Uncle Waffles.

Tickets go on sale Friday (1/13).
