TAG, THEY'RE IT! SHAZAM'S BIGGEST MOVERS

It’s Throwback Thursday on the Shazam Top 100 in the U.S. and U.K., as The Velvet Underground and The Beatles are among the Biggest Movers on both charts.

The Velvet Underground’s “Oh! Sweet Nuthin’,” the seven-minute Doug Yule composition that closes its 1970 album Loaded (Atlantic), gets a boost after a synch on Disney+’s Loki.

The Beatles' “Now and Then” (Apple/Capitol), the “final” single featuring John, Paul, George & Ringo, was released 11/2 and immediately got thumbs a-waggin’ thanks to regular radio airplay on its first days of release.

The arrival of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse on Netflix has Shazammers keying in on Metro Boomin & James Blake’s “Hummingbird” (Republic).

Amerie’s 2005 track “1 Thing” (Columbia) has caught fire on TikTok as a soundtrack to basketball highlights, with D Smuv & Lou2Hard’s Halloween drop “Luh Freestyle 1” (West$ide) also scaring up Shazams.
