LATIN RECORDING ACADEMY CELEBRATES LAURA PAUSINI

Warner Latina's Laura Pausini was honored by the Latin Recording Academy as its 2023 Person of the Year on 11/15 in Seville, Spain.

The multilingual Italian star was serenaded by Andrea Bocelli, Luis Fonsi, Alejandro Sanz, David Bisbal, Anitta, Carin León, Christian Nodal and Elena Rose, among others, who performed renditions of her anthems.

Pausini, who speaks Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and English, has recorded or performed in those languages as well as French, German, Latin, Chinese, Catalan, Neapolitan, Romagnol and Sicilian. She's nonetheless best known for her work in Italian and Spanish.

Pictured on the eve of the Latin Grammys are Latin Recording Academy CEO Manuel Abud, Pausini and Fonsi.
