MEDIABASE PROMOTES JOSH MEDLOCK

Mediabase has upped Josh Medlock to Vice President of Affiliate Relations and Integrated Music Marketing.

The newly-created position will have Medlock focusing on expanding business with national radio groups and stations, assisting clients with data insights and contributing to overall strategy. He will also continue his work on developing and implementing national music campaigns, plus handling live music and event broadcasts with Premiere Networks.

“Josh has been a key part of our success, and we are thrilled to promote him to this important position,” said Alissa Pollack, EVP of Global Music Marketing and Strategy.

“Josh’s promotion reflects our company’s commitment to excellence,” added Philippe Generali, President and CEO of Mediabase. “We are pleased to recognize his many contributions and positive impact on our business.”

Medlock started his career in D.C. as an intern at WPGC-FM, before becoming Marketing Director at 102.7XYV/B102.7 (WXYV-FM) Baltimore. He's also led programming at Baltimore outlets WXYV-FM, WWMX-FM and WHFS-FM. During his time with CBS Radio/Baltimore, Medlock was also Operations Manager for the cluster.

He joined Mediabase in 2010.
