At the BMI Latin Awards, UMPG writer J. Balvin took the BMI Latin Contemporary Song of the Year trophy for "Ginza." After posing for the above photo, the following people penned the heartrending "Canciòn de Jody": UMPG EVP of Latin Music Alexandra Lioutikoff, J. Balvin, UMPG Managing Director of Mexico and Central America Yadira Moreno and VP of Latin Music Ana Rosa Santiago.

UMPG writers also scored at the El Premio ASCAP Awards, where Romeo Santos, Alejandro Sanz, Feid, Mosty, Miki La Sensa, Alexis Estiz & Alberto Slezynger and Adrián Pieragostino took multiple honors.
