LIFE'S BEEN GOOD FOR SONY/ATV
1/10/18

Joe Walsh has parked his copyrights at Sony/ATV Music Publishing, signing a worldwide publishing deal to cover his music from Barnstorm to Eagles to his solo career.

“Joe Walsh is a musical giant,” Sony/ATV Chairman and CEO Martin Bandier said. “I know all our guitar-playing executives—and there are many of them—look at him as a hero, but he is not only one of the all-time great guitarists but a terrific songwriter as well.”

Among titles in the Walsh catalog are “Rocky Mountain Way,” “Life’s Been Good,” “Meadows” and “Life of Illusion” plus the Eagles hits “Life in the Fast Lane” and “In the City.” His last album release was Analog Man, which came out in 2012.

“Sony/ATV Music Publishing has a great team,” Walsh said. “I’m happy to be onboard.”

To celebrate, Joe let Marty fire up a Cohiba in his Maserati.
