A WHOLE LOTTA NOMS FOR SONY/ATV
11/20/19

Sony/ATV has plenty of reasons to celebrate with Grammy nominations across the major categories. Among the Sony/ATV repped nominees for the 62nd Grammy Awards are songwriters Lady Gaga, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Khalid, Lana Del Rey, Lil Nas X, Luis Fonsi, Maluma, producers Jack Antonoff, John Hill, Ricky Reed, and David ‘Swagg R’Celious’ Harris, among others.

Led by Gaga, Del Rey, and Swift, Sony/ATV songwriters are represented in six of the eight songs competing for Song of the Year while songwriter/producers Antonoff, Hill and Reed comprise three of the five nominees for Producer of the Year, Non-Classical. Nominations by others were also received in categories like Best Country Song, Best R&B Song, and Best Rap Song.

Sony/ATV Chairman/CEO Jon Platt says, “We have the honor of representing a special group of truly gifted songwriters, who are influencing culture and connecting with music fans across all genres. Congratulations to all of our Sony/ATV nominees…I look forward to celebrating with you all on GRAMMY night.”

Along with Best New Artist nominations for Maggie Rogers and Lil Nas X, Sony/ATV songwriters are also dominating the Record of the Year and Album of the Year categories, representing more than half of the songs in each.

The 62nd annual Grammy Awards will take place in L.A. on Sunday, 1/26 and will be broadcasted on CBS.
