Eesean Bolden started this week as VP of A&R at Epic, reporting to EVP A&R Joey Arbagey and label chief L.A. Reid out of the label’s West Coast offices. Bolden formerly served at Capitol, where he brought in viral breakout Silento as well as singer/songwriter Mary Lambert; several labels are said to have pursued him but Reid moved aggressively to secure the well-liked young exec. Look for an official announcement shortly.
