Nigerian-American duo VanJess, composed of sisters Ivana and Jessica Nwokike, recently released an Amazon exclusive cover of “Groove Thang” by Zhané. Heavily influenced by '90s R&B, the duo made their debut last year with record “Silk Canvas,” which featured notable artists such as Masego, GoldLink, and Berhana.
Signed to Keep Cool, the girls have also contributed shimmering vocals on Kaytranada's single "DYSFUNCTIONAL," opened for Masego on his North American Lady, Lady Tour, performed on SNL with Khalid, and played the L.A. Residency show Soulection last month.
