WHAT IT IS: Having generated a buzz by co-writing Selena Gomez’s “Baila Conmigo” and Tainy & Yandel’s “DEJA VU,” Puerto Rican urban-alternative rapper Álvaro Díaz dropped his major-label debut, Felicilandia, in 2021. The set, which debuted Top 10 on Spotify’s Global Albums chart, yielded streaming hits “Problemón” f/Rauw Alejandro and “Llori Pari” f/Feid and landed on various prestigious Best of 2021 lists. Following a string of 2022 releases including “Ramona Flowers,” “LENTITO” and “LA TERAPIA REMIX,” Díaz—who’s also collaborated with C. Tangana, Cazzu, Sebastian Yatra and more—released his latest offering, “SUPRA 94TRO” in December.
